FYI,

In case word hasn't reached you, according to a customer service email I received from RPGNow a few minutes ago, they are "in the midst of site repair from a major server crash".

Basically their site has been going up and down today, and probably for several days, based on the RPGnow fourm comments. I emailed customer service when I couldn't download my order after a few hours.

I thought I'd mention it here because I think you rely soley on RPGNow for...

I've been able to pick up 11 PDFs to add to the 12 TGM products I already own. That means I now have everything that The Game Mechanics have done (or at least available on RPGNow).

Just posting to see what Game Mechanic products you're currently using your in games these days. And while I *do* do some writing for these fine lads, I'm asking for my own curiosity--no one put me up to it.

It's occurred to me that, in this small-publisher business, word-of-mouth is our best advertising tool. The old "I told two friends, and they told two friends, and so on ..." ad campaign was just an illustration of the process. And it really works. But, of course, it takes someone to kick it off. We at The Game Mechanics have never been terribly shy about promoting our products to the gaming public, at game stores, conventions, or even just in chance conversations.

But now...

I am glad to see more products on the way for D20 Modern.
I have purchased the Player's Companion, GM screen/Come for the Reaping, and Slave Drivers and love all three products.

We were nominated in three categories and won awards in all of them.

Thieves' Quarter won a gold award for Best Cartography (that'd be Christopher West's work) and a silver award for Best Setting Supplement, beaten only by Green Ronin's entry.

Initiative Cards won a gold award as Best Free Product.

updates for CD buyers?

I bought a CD with TGM products at GenCon SoCal in the greenronin booth, I noticed the cover page issue with one of the books (the one you announced in the home page).

However, since I didn't buy it thru RPGNow, how can I have access to that and future updates/erratas?

Modern Game Master's Screen?

Greenronin.com is offering a preorder on a Modern Gamemaster's Screen from TGM (including a copy of Come For The Reaping), but I there's no expected date at Greenronin.com. The TGM website doesn't even have a product announcement yet.

Any info on when we can expect this spiffy new product?

Chances for Print Products?

I would like to know: how likely is it that your books will ever see print?
IMHO print products are far superior (at least as long as you dont use a computer at the gaming table), and even if I didnt mind paying for a pdf, Im pretty sure theres no way Id be able to pay you (lacking a credit card).
